Stocks finished modestly positive for the week on strong earnings growth and the increasing likelihood of additional fiscal stimulus. Communication services stocks outperformed in the S&P 500 Index, boosted by solid gains in Twitter and video gaming shares. Rising oil prices helped energy stocks, while weakness in Amazon and Tesla weighed on the consumer discretionary sector. Mid- and small-caps built on their substantial year-to-date lead over large-cap stocks, and value shares also outperformed.
Cryptocurrencies tracked higher this week with Bitcoin price hitting it’s all time high, above $48,000 per coin. Congrats to our community members who bought Bitcoin back when we issued our most recent Buy alert on September 14th. Since then the price for BTC has spiked more than 340%.

02-08-2021_SPWR up 11.9%
Essentially, SunPower today is a financing and power sales company. The company boasts a solid four-quarter average earnings surprise of 49.23% and is estimated to generate earnings growth of 324.3% in 2021, according to Zacks Research.
SPWR share price had pulled back roughly 20% from its peak last month at the time we issued our trade alert on Monday. Since then the price has risen significantly and now sits just 9% from its January high.
The company is scheduled to discuss its fourth quarter and physical year 2020 on a conference call Wednesday, February 17th after the closing bell.

GlaxoSmithKline’s top immunology drug, Nucala, is used in some cases of asthma and was recently approved for treating a rare blood disorder called hypereosinophilic syndrome, or HES. The drug works by preventing a protein from binding to white blood cells.
Argus Research’s Eade “Buy” calls GSK‘s price a buying opportunity and has a 12-month price target of $50 on the stock. He also calls out an attractive 5.23% dividend yield and says GSK shares trade below industry averages.

Atmos was added to the dividend aristocrats in January 2020 and clinched its 26th straight year of dividend growth in November 2020, when it announced an 8.7% increase to 62.5 cents a share per quarter. The stock currently sports an annual yield of 2.8%.
